I never imagined that my dream of becoming a published author would come true. I had always loved the idea of writing books and was constantly coming up with book ideas. I was working full-time as a primary school teacher when one day, as the summer holidays approached, I had an idea for a book that really took flight; I decided to put pen to paper (or finger tips to keyboard) and before I knew it my first novel, JUST THE TWO OF US, had emerged. It was published in February 2017 by Aria, an imprint of Head of Zeus, Bloomsbury.  It was a busy month for me as I also became a mum and continued editing my second novel, UNDER THE AMALFI SUN, which was published in August 2017.  I wrote my third novel, THE DISTANCE BETWEEN US, while I was on maternity leave with my daughter and it was published in July 2018.  Over the following years I worked on my fourth novel whilst having two more children and continuing to work part-time as a primary school teacher.  THE LOVE I WISHED FOR was published by Pellerin Books in May 2026.  I am currently working on my fifth novel.
